27 June 2022 – Tirana News Digest.  Albania Government published a revised version of the controversial Fiscal and Penal Amnesty law, which foresees the possibility to legalize as much as 2 million euros in exchange for a tax as low as 5% in what critics consider a very dangerous law that could transform the country in a laundromat for organized crime and corrupt politicians. The law foresees pardon for fiscal crimes. Meanwhile, Damian Gjiknuri, a socialist party MP, described the potential beneficiaries in a meeting in London as “boys who had undertaken risks” which faces “prejudices”. [Read more: Link in english]
